On 30 June 2024, the Faculty of Commece successfully organised the 2024 Faculty Annual Science Conference on "Applying technology in developing high quality undergraduate workforce for International Business and Logistics - Supply Chain Management fields in today settings".

Digital transformation is a concept that emerged in the context of the explosion of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, an era of automated machinery and widespread Internet bandwidth around the world. Digital transformation in the education sector focuses on two main contents: educational management and teaching, assessment, testing, and scientific research. Educational management includes creating a database system, digitizing management information, applying engineering technology, and deploying online public services for the purpose of accurate and fast administration and operation. Teaching includes digitizing documents, online libraries, online training systems, virtual reality practice, etc.
Currently, in the face of the strong development of the 4.0 industrial revolution, the application of technology is identified as an effective tool in improving the quality of university teaching activities.
It is necessary to strengthen the application of technology in teaching activities at universities, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of training and fostering lecturers. With advanced technological applications in the field of education, learners can connect with diverse sources of information about the field, rich in format and language, all of which go beyond the university campus.

International business and logistics - supply chain management is an industry that strongly applies digital technology to organize, implement, and manage business activities in the enterprise. This requires lecturers teaching subjects in this field to continuously update, research, and deploy new technologies that are changing rapidly, not only making lectures more vivid but also narrowing the gap between theory and practice, thereby improving the quality of human resource training.
In the context of increasingly fierce competition among training schools in the field of economics related to international business, logistics, and supply chain management, schools that do not innovate, change content, and teaching methods, training students in the direction of applying digital technology to meet the needs of businesses in the digital age, that school will gradually lose its competitive advantage.
This shows the necessity of researching and studying the application of digital technology in organizing and implementing the application of digital technology in training for students in international business, logistics and SCM management to meet the increasing requirements of employers, meet the needs of society in the digital age.
